Saw the smallest male monarch in my backyard flying close to the ground and having trouble getting lift. His wings appeared to be somewhat wet and one of his hind wings was slightly curled. He was easy to capture and put into a monarch carrier. I'm hoping he was interrupted while eclosing and that the wing will unfurl. He's exercising on the deck.
