At Wendy Park on Lake Erie I found one Monarch Egg and collected it to rear. There is a large group of Milkweed growing in a small wooded ravine. I did not site any larvae or chrysalises. Hopefully, this egg will have time to develop into a butterfly and join the rest of the group on their migration to Mexico.
It is a wonder to see, indeed!
