One female was laying eggs on the milkweed in front of the Hancock, NH, town library. Another adult of unknown gender arrived and the two butterflies danced together in the air a bit. I was able to find 4 of the eggs as well a 2nd instar cat on the milkweed, all of which I took home to raise.
