6 in the front yard milkweed garden at 4:30 pm. I spotted what I thought was a total of 7 eggs, including 2 on one leaf.

After photographing it, I realized that one of the 2 eggs on that leaf had hatched already.

Look closely at the egg on the right. You can see where the larvae exited.

Total eggs 6 in the front garden.
