Thanks for providing this forum. So thrilled to see this FIRST SIGHTING of one Monarch fluttering around the patch of Asclepias syriaca, Common Milkweed, in my backyard. The milkweed volunteered and I've allowed reseeding and encouraged growth of the patch every year for 3 years. I'm thrilled! Will be on the lookout for eggs, larvae, etc. and report as I am able.
