This 3-winged female was laying eggs in the backyard mid-morning, after rain had stopped. I collected over 200 eggs last week, but didn't post, as some of those eggs are Queen Eggs. 87 eggs were given to a teacher to be raised at her school. I have had daily Monarch sightings this month, both males and females and a colony of Queens that have taken over the backyard. Had a mating pair of Monarchs yesterday. It's a busy August here with many species of butterflies leaving eggs.
