Our resident male showed himself at about 9 a:m today and was here until 7:45 p:m. Our butterfly garden lived up to its name today. We had a total of 4 monarchs. Other species here today: 1 viceroy, 2 red-spotted purple, both a male and female black swallowtail, 1 yellow sulphur, 1 painted lady, 1 eastern comma, 2 red admirals, 1 giant swallowtail, 1 silverspot, cabbage whites, and some little skippers. Very busy yard!
