Monarch Adult Sighted

Date: 08/16/2017

Number: 2

The Monarchs have finally come out after a morning of rain. One of the monarchs was a male but he was not patrolling the milkweed in my garden he was nectaring so maybe this guy is getting ready to fly to Mexico. He searched all over the Joe Pye Weed until he found a couple of stems that were still kind of fresh. They sure like Joe Pye Weed. Too bad it's almost done but the New England Aster has just started.
