For the past few weeks I have spotted hundreds of Monarchs along the north shore of Lake Erie. Most seem to be foraging for nectar while a few seemed to be engaging in migratory activity (flying SW direction). This is the first time in many years of personal observations that I have seen so many monarchs before the migration actually starts
