1 chrysalis had been hanging in a cage by itself for almost a month. I removed it so I could use the cage; isolated it on a string in the open air away from my rearing area in case something was actually wrong with it, being in the crys so long. No, it suddenly turned black, emerged as a healthy big male within hours.
