Lots of Monarch traffic today - a couple of males and few females (laying eggs). I really do hope that the large amount of Monarchs I have been seeing at my waystation since July means that the overwintering numbers will bounce back up this year. At this time last year, I was not seeing Monarchs like this, and barely saw any during peak migration in Oct. Fingers crossed for a good year!
