Monarch, Captive-Reared

Date: 08/21/2017

Number: 7

Released five females and two males at my favorite park. The males were large. One female was gigantic. Two females were small and the rest average. It was a calm morning and early so I left most on the undersides of leaves on an oak tree. Two monarchs were nonconformists and headed off on their own to higher places on surrounding oaks. Go monarchs.
