the hummers that frequent my feeder continue to feed as they have all summer, more in the early mornings then tapering off during the heat of the day and resuming more active feeding later in the afternoon into early evening. :) I have at least one male and one female and the female is quite inquisitive. The other day I was standing on my front porch, about 50 yrds from the feeder and she came right up to my face, about 2 ft. away and just hovered for a moment as if to say "hello". It was a magical experience! :)
