We see quite a few these days. I think the fall migration is underway. Some of the ones we see may be the ones that spent the summer, but there are more than before. The same perch in the live oak is still popular, but we now sometimes see more than one hummingbird in the same tree at the same time. When the youngsters learned to fly, territoriality became lessened. We saw the kids chasing each other, but it looked more like play than anything else. Now there is still some territoriality, but not nearly as ferocious as when Dad Hummingbird was guarding the yard.
