I see them daily and have been waiting for their departure. A large plump female drank and then fluttered up and sat on the feeder for several minutes. My wife noticed me watching and said thats unusual what is she doing. I jokingly replied she is tell my good bye. She then flew off to the south over the 80 foot spruce and not to the trees we have been watching them nest in over the summer. Few at the feeders today darn it all, they must be leaving us!
