We walked around our lot and then drove to a local blueberry field about a mile away which contains a lot of milkweed and goldenrod.

In total, we saw 9 adult Monarchs, only 3 of which were obtaining nectar from goldenrod plants and a couple of swamp milkweeds which still have flowers. The other 6 were flying amongst a stand of jack pines.
