On a slightly chilly morning, I saw a monarch flying around in our yard, close to the house. It settled in the grass and sat there for quite some time moving its wings up & down. When I approached, it flew into the garden. My property is located in the RM of Springfield, Manitoba, near Deacon and Hillside.
