We have had 6 or 7 from late June through July. Starting early August, we have seen more adult hummingbirds appearing fighting to drink the sugar water we have in the yard. They fought so much that we decided to change the feeder to a larger size bottle and hang up additional feeders. We now see more than a dozen from morning till sundown. They are the most active and noisy bunch over the past 20 years since we first started feeding them sugar water.
How delightful !!!
