This year I included large plantings of flowers in my vegetable garden in the hopes of attracting pollinating insects, plus birds to eat destructive insects.
I have lots of bees, butterflies and hummingbirds in the garden now.
I also have a couple of small females frequently visiting my nectar feeders closer to the house. Sad to think - they may be leaving in as little as 3 weeks!
