seems as though the males have already headed south because i'm only seeing 1 female for a week or so. a couple weeks ago i had no less than 4 but there are a lot of wild flowers blooming in the woods so they might be feeding somewhere else. i still have 1 female hanging around that really loves the cardinal spikes and feeders. she likes chasing the birds and butterflies away that come to the bird feeders and flowers. usually the hummers stay around all year, so we'll see what happens this year.
