Monarch Waystation #271 reports a 2nd instar larvae found on one of the Swamp Milkweeds in my front yard while gardening and observing the partial solar eclipse during the day. The cat did not look very happy, maybe the latex was too much for it. I didn't do an intense search for larvae. Many of my milkweeds have feeding sign, but I also have many wasps in the area and have seen them capture at least one larva in front of me in the last week.
