Had this male dancing around the milkweed bush tonight. Time was 630pm, 77 degrees, light wind out of the north, medium humidity levels. We had 5 plus inches of rain last night. I took several pictures but I decide to post this one as it showed the sunlight penitrating through the wings as If someone had used water paint to draw a monarch resting on this beautiful budding plant.
