We observed at least one adult female Ruby-throated Hummingbird as well as four juveniles. Some of these juveniles have one or more red feathers in the gorget region.
We have seen much activity at the feeders today and previously, including feeding from the feeders, chasing one another, etc. in an effort to gain control of particular feeders. We observed them feeding from zinnias, salvia, and petunias in our flower garden as well as the three Rose of Sharon we have.
