My husband and I observed an adult Monarch butterfly in our backyard today. It was flying near a Milkweed patch that we have in our yard. We have seen perhaps 4-5 adult Monarchs in our backyard during the recent past, but I did not get a report turned in regarding them. We also saw a Monarch larva during this past week on a Milkweed plant in the patch.
