An adult Monarch butterfly during a windy (less than 10 mph) mid-afternoon was observed in a yard flying low above drying peonies in circles and past non-flowering common milkweed. At one point the Monarch flew low about 3' above the street heading south but then circled back to the same sunny original location where a few Hostas were flowering. The temperatures in the mid 70's F.
