I have had frequent monarch visitors to my yard at my echinachea and my lantana, but also at my milkweed patch. From my milkweed I have collected 6 eggs which I have cared for inside my home, releasing 3 butterflies so far with 2 remaining in the pupa stage and 1 still a caterpillar. I am growing both common and swamp milkweed. I hope to have more monarchs visit in the next weeks as they prepare for their long trip.
