temps were too warm for a cluster roost, but did see a couple of dozen monarchs nectaring in a blooming alfalfa field.......
we are inbetween generations here, mostly, so I suspect most of the monarchs came from the northwest in the last day or two (good winds both Tuesday and Wednesday)..........
our 3rd generation should emerge in the next ten days or so.......and there are a few caterpillars that hope to make a forth generation before the end of September.......we shall see..........
