It was difficult to "choose one" since I've seen several of your topics: I've seen adults, with females laying eggs; I've seen several eggs and I've seen several larvae. All of these sightings have truly made me realize how difficult it is for these butterflies to reach maturity--many of the eggs do not hatch or are eaten by other insects; even after hatching, some larvae don't grow; many larvae are preyed upon by insects and spiders, etc, etc.
