I have seen more monarchs this August than in the past 5 summers. Not sure exactly how many but I have seen several each day and have enjoyed it immensely. Our school did a study of the monarch caterpillar metamorphosis in the lower school classrooms 5 years ago. I am the Spanish teacher and used the opportunity to teach about the migration to Mexico and the tie in to DÃa de los Muertos.
