Found a large number of monarch caterpillars today on swamp milk weed in side garden and on common milkweed gathered along the shoulder of Marker Road. Left 17 4th and 5th instars outside on the swamp milk weed in my yard. Brought in two 1st instars found on the swamp milkweed, a 2nd, a 3rd and a 4th instar found on common milkweed gathered to feed the indoor reared caterpillars.
