We had heard about a home with Liatris ligulistylis in the front yard and lots of monarchs on it, so we drove past and took a look. Eighteen is a guess, based on perhaps two dozen plants, many with three or four butterflies on them, but a lot of activity of monarchs flying from flower to flower.
