Sightings report image

Date: 08/14/2017

Number: 1

Bought 2 milkweeds and put in garden...immediately starting seeing eggs and tiny caterpillars...but they never lasted because of predators- bees, wasps, lizards, toads, birds, etc. Decided to bring cats in and over the month of August have raised and released 33 Monarchs...1 Queens! I mended the broken tattered wing of a monarch I found in the street, probably caught in the storm. She is flying but on screened area because of storms...great video of her extracting nectar from Pentas.
