last night's temp dropped to 9 deg C (48 deg. F)

the roost is at the end of the Forest Street Leamington on private land in a silver maple mixed deciduous habitat created to serve this purpose by the owner. This is dense urban development beside an urban park.
Jerusalem artichoke is starting to bloom.
There were more than 100 of these individuals monarchs that appeared very fresh!
