Monarch butterflies arrived to my yard in early July. I have seen one and then 2 flying together. I have seen them in my yard routinely since July. They were very active.

I will upload pictures from last week when I transfer them from my camera. I have been keeping a photolog of their visits to my yard since around 2011. When I initially saw them 10 years ago, I observed larvae and caterpillars. I have not seen any in recent years. I also wonder if this is because some of the milkweed has bloomed before they arrive. It blooms in June now.
