Monarch (OTHER Observations)

Date: 08/01/2017

Number: 1

My four swamp milkweed plants were devoured by aphids and milkweed beetles. This was their 3rd year, although I did move them to a new spot. They have never bloomed. I trimmed half the remaining stalks with the hopes that something might regenerate.

When we came back from July vacation both of the orange tuberosa milkweed were without leaves, stems black or twiggy and looking dead.

As of 8/22 one tuberosa put up a fresh green shoot. The other I am watering, but no sign of life as of 8/27.
