I've been watching to see if Monarch(s) would return to my backyard and enjoy the Joe Pye Weed again like last year. It appears this female Monarch decided to allow two Painted Lady butterflies to join her. I've noticed other Monarchs in the air around Hampton Slough National Wildlife Refuge near Audubon MN within the last week.
