One (1) VERY fat immature male ruby throat fed on the red pentas, tropical milkweed (Asclepias curassavica) and rough blazing star liatris before going to the feeder. I'm not sure how much more weight the little guy can gain until he can't fly. He's THAT fat!

I would say he's about ready to embark upon his migratory journey. Until he decides to leave, he'll find plenty of "grub" to meet his present and future energy needs in our garden space.
