Had a tiny caterpillar eclose today. Here she is in all her tininess. She wasn't cooperative so I couldn't get a picture with her wings open next to the quarter. You can see the quarter under her right wing. Two more tiny caterpillars eclosed after her (I assume her siblings) but both didn't survive. I tried everything to save them. It seemed their tiny legs just couldn't hold the weight of the wet wings and large abdomen. I'm so sad but happy that she made it.
