Released a tiny female and large male at my favorite park. It was sunny but breezy. The monarchs eclosed yesterday so their wings were dry but they didn't get as much exercise. The female flew across the parking lot and landed on a low prairie flower. The male split off like a Blue Angel and landed in the canopy of an oak tree. Also released my neighbor's incredibly beautiful Spicebush Swallowtail. I've never raised one before.
