The wind was NW when I went to see if migration was occurring at the Lake Huron shoreline at Harrisville State Park with the temperature at 57F. at 11:30 AM. I observed a monarch flying about the beach the first hour, but the wind changed coming out of the NE. I decided to walk the beach northward and saw no monarchs. I then went for a walk to the town of Harrisville to the harbor and saw 2 monarchs huddled in a goldenrod plant. I then went back through the park and added another monarch. When I got home I checked the flower garden and added one more monarch. Weather was still mostly cloudy and 59F. at 3:30 PM.
