With the wind picking up out of the NE at 13 mph with the temperature at a high of 60 degrees for the day and no monarchs in my flower garden, I decided to mow my back lawn at 5 PM. Afterwards, I saw 2 female monarchs come to the flower garden at 5:32 PM. This is the best August for monarchs since I have kept records since 2010. I will post results in the Monarch (OTHER Observations) section.
