Witnessed a monarch laying eggs so I collected what I could find and 5 out of the 6 hatched on 8/24 and 8/25. They are all growing. When I went outside to my car on the night of 8/27, I saw a monarch roosting in my sugar maple (just around the corner from where my milkweeds are located).
