I have had at least 3 hummers here all summer. One female and at least 2 males.

The female is quit bold and will buzz right up to you while the male Ruby Throats will keep their distance.

They are really getting fat and look more like fat bumble bees now. I see them at the feeders in the early morning and throughout the day.

Yesterday, two males spent an extended time asserting themselves at the feeders and actually tussling with each other ON the GROUND. They were on my patio and quit a sight to see the struggle. They flew up at last and continued in the air.....
