4 ruby throated hummingbirds, 1 adult male and 3 females, fed hungrily on black & blue salvias and nectar feeders today. 1 might be an immature. Thought the last adult male had left our yard on Wednesday but an adult male showed up at a nectar feeder this evening. There wasn't a lot of battling for territory this evening; a couple skirmishes, saw the last hummer for this evening at 7:59 pm taking a last sip from an oriole feeder. Have not seen orioles since yesterday.
