Thought the last adult male hummer had left our yard on Wednesday as I didn't see any males on Thursday. But an adult male showed up at a nectar feeder at around 7:25 this evening. This is same time I have seen a male show up at the particular feeder before. So it might be a male that has been around for a while. He has very brilliant throat feathers when they catch the light. Smoke from Canadian forest fires has made the air very hazy. I wonder if fires are affecting hummingbird migration?
