One (1) monarch butterfly successfully raised from an egg collected from a healthy milkweed plant growing at Wendy Park located on the southern shore of Lake Erie, Cleveland OH. The butterfly was due to emerge from it's chrysalis while we were out of town. So as not to jeopardize the health of the young butterfly we chose to take the chrysalis with us to a convention, along with fresh fruit just in case. We're so happy to report our deligence and hard work paid off! The young butterfly emerged from it's chrysalis before our eyes! Within a few hours SHE was released and flew happily away on a sunny, warm afternoon.
