Collected ( saved ! ) 100 + fourth instar caterpillars at this site. So abundant, sometimes 2 to a leaf. Small milkweed-have been foraging here for past 2 weeks; was mowed @ mid-July. Made us giddy to SAVE so many ! Would love to find who owns this & ask them to donate land to preserve such a wonderful site - next to major 2 lane road- Less than 1/3 acre. Some cats are already hanging today (Sept 2).
