Released large female at favorite park. Her wings were dry but needed more exercise than the hour I gave her. Together we walked (she clung onto my index finger) to find the right leaf on which to put her. Then she took matters into own her hands(?) and flew onto a leaf exposed to the sun halfway up the tree. I like motivated monarchs. Wanted her to get migrating because Minneapolis will have highs in the 60's by mid week.
