Female emerged early morning before I woke at 8 AM. Day was cool around 14C (projected high of 21C) when we took her outside at 11AM and left her resting on the branch of a shrub just above a patch of Goldenrod in full bloom. Plenty of native nectar sources especially Goldenrod.
