We had over a hundred Monarchs in the late afternoon - very breezy from the NW. Many were feeding on the goldenrods and New England Asters in the pasture. Some would lift and leave with the wind to the SE. There were some individuals that rested on seed heads of Gray-headed Coneflowers, then would return to feed.
